About the Ranch
At Fingland Stables, we are “Breeding Tomorrow’s Champions Today.” Selecting the right cross between a mare and a stallion is an art that is developed only with years of experience. Our success in producing such an elite collection of prospects is a tribute to the unselfishness of those who have been dedicated to the love of the sport for decades. We are grateful to our many mentors, who have enthusiastically and unselfishly shared their vast knowledge with us.
The right breeding is an important foundation for building a champion. Once bred, training is critical to align the horse's potential with maximum performance. Training programs should be customized to allow each horse to progress at their optimum pace. At Fingland Stables, it is about training each horse to their individual potential. Our reining program is under the direction of Sam Smith Reining Horses, while our Shetland & Miniature program is coordinated by Mike Wahl Performance Horses
Fingland Stables is located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, a suburb of Tulsa, OK. The 25 acre ranch is surrounded by rural residential estates, making the environment inviting for raising young foals. Natural areas of woodlands encourage deer and other wildlife to share the grazing pastures with weanlings and yearlings. Equine fencing has been carefully designed for pleasing esthetics, ease of pasture rotation and horse safety. We invite you to come visit our ranch to view our facilities and horses.
